This Huge Elephant Looks Like It’s Trying To Hide Itself

.

In South Africa, a shy and large elephant appears to be trying to hide from the camera, but it is not very effective. Staffan Widstrand, a 60-year-old Swedish photographer, captured the picture in Limpopo, South Africa’s Marataba Private Reserve.

The animal was attempting to conceal behind a shrub, but the snapper was amused to see that its trunk and tail were still clearly visible. It’s so adorable! The Marataba Reserve is part of Marakele National Park in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. It has towering mountains, expansive plains, an abundance of animal species, and rivers.

The park is four hours from Johannesburg and situated in the Waterberg Mountains. Popular activities include stargazing, bird-watching, wildlife drives, and bush walks. Marataba provides one of the most distinctive safari experiences in Sut A. It is home to numerous large species, including elephants, rhinoceroses, and big cats, as well as an astonishing array of birds, in its 23,000 acre private reserve, which is malaria-free.

When juvenile, elephants are among the world’s most adorable animals, their long trunks and floppy ears adding to their appeal.
