Orca whales devοur great white shark iп wild Mοssel Bay fοοtage
A stunning video depicts orca whales devouring a shark as if it were a banquet.

Drone footage catches a fleet of predators killing a great white shark in Mossel Bay, South Africa.
Scientist Alison Towner, who recently published a paper on the orcas’ unusual targeting of the great white, told The Daily Beast, “I truly believe that footage will go viral once it is broadcast.”

The video depicts the 9-foot-long apex predator hemorrhaging as a killer whale bites its liver.
Towner, who has researched the ecology of great white sharks for fifteen years, deems the violent footage “one of the most beautiful pieces of natural history ever filmed.”
“This is the first footage ever captured by a drone of killer whales feeding on a white shark,” she said.

It is the first time such precise evidence has ever been documented in South Africa.
Over the years, scientists have collected data on great white sharks migrating from their habitats, shark carcasses washing up on beaches without livers, and alterations to the whales’ cyclical habits.
