This season, injuries devastated Varane, causing the French midfielder to lose form and was gradually removed from the main squad by coach Erik ten Hag. MU fans’ patience with Antony has reached its limit. This £85 million contract deserves to be one of the worst rookies in Red Devils history, as his contributions are almost zero. Not only that, Antony also tarnished MU’s image, especially with his shameful provocation towards Coventry players when the Red Devils struggled to defeat this opponent on the 11-meter mark to enter the FA Cup final.
