WWE’s television programming featured The Rock as a main attraction leading up to WrestleMania 40, which helped the company achieve incredible sales and record-breaking numbers as The Great One made his debut.
After WrestleMania, The Final Boss made an announcement on his departure from WWE to concentrate on his other obligations.
This came after a heated altercation with the newly crowned Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes on RAW following WrestleMania 40.
The Rock has finally released his first assignment following his WWE vacation announcement. He announced the recording of a music video with songwriter Chris Janson in Texas by posting pictures of the two of them on Instagram.
“Brotherhood and fellowship 🫱🏾🫲🏼🛻
Man I had the BEST TIME shooting this music video in Texas with my brother @thechrisjanson for his new song, “Watcha See Is Whatcha Get”
I’ve Chris for a few years now and not only did we immediately bond over our love for country music, but more importantly, Chris is a good, kind hearted man who works his butt off to take care of his family and take care of his fans!
Chris is a true reflection of one of my favorite all time quotes —
It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice.
CAN’T WAIT for y’all to watch this music video that drops TOMORROW @10AM ET
The Rock was very clear when he said that he would be returning and going straight after Cody Rhodes before going on leave. In addition, he mentioned that he plans to wrestle at WrestleMania 41, the Show of Shows, the following year.
Hence, we’ll just have to wait and watch what transpires when The Final Boss rejoins the team and continues where he left off. Fans can now look forward to his brand-new music video, which will be released tomorrow at 10 p.m. ET.
