Former Man United stars reunite to launch a film about MU’s glorious history

“99” is the title of the documentary that Man Utd fans are eagerly waiting for. According to schedule, the film will officially premiere on May 17.

More than a week before the show, yesterday a series of Man Utd legends, who contributed to the historic 1998-99 season (winning the treble – Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League), gathered. release this movie.

Prominent among the legends of MU are Teddy Sheringham, Butt, Becks, Gary Neville, Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke, Peter Schmeichel and Gary Neville… Particularly Butt, the former English midfielder, gave birth to two children, Jersey and Ruben. Players playing for Salford City, the team that MU’s famous ’92 generation is co-owner of, attended the event.

In addition to Butt, Teddy Sheringham also took the spotlight at the premiere of the movie “99”. The former England international appeared with his 20 years younger wife, Kristina Andriotis.

Teddy Sheringham is one of the players most remembered by MU fans in the 1998-99 season. Because the 58-year-old former English striker scored goals in the FA Cup and Champions League finals.

Specifically, Teddy Sheringham scored 1 goal in the FA Cup final between MU and Newcastle (the Red Devils won 2-0). Most memorable of all, he scored the goal in the 90+1 minute of the Champions League final against Bayern Munich at Camp Nou, equalizing the 1-1 draw, thereby sparking the Red Devils’ unbelievable comeback.
