Man United received good news about Fernandes – Rashford, preparing to face Arsenal

Coach Ten Hag revealed MU’s personnel situation before the Arsenal war (10:30 p.m. May 12) as well as made a strong statement about the future.

At 10:30 p.m. on May 12, MU will welcome Arsenal in round 37 of the Premier League. In the pre-match press conference, coach Erik Ten Hag revealed the personnel situation of the “Red Devils” for this great match.

According to Ten Hag, midfielder Lisando Martinez and left back Luke Shaw have not set a return date. Martinez has only appeared in 11 matches since the beginning of the season, the most recent being a 1-1 draw with Brentford in March. Meanwhile, Luke Shaw has been out since the 2-1 win over Luton Town in February and has only played Can return as soon as possible in the FA Cup final against Man City (9:00 p.m., May 25).

“Yesterday, Licha (Lisando Martinez’s nickname) met me and expressed his desire to play in the match against Arsenal. However, he is not ready yet, he needs more time to complete the recovery process. Anyway, Licha’s spirit is great. Luke Shaw is still recovering but I hope he can return in time for the FA Cup final.”

In the opposite direction, some other pillars such as Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Scott McTominay are likely to return: “Rashford practiced this morning and we have to see how he recovers, although I I think his condition is quite good and hopefully he can practice, then we will wait to see if he is ready to play or not. Bruno and Scott McTominay also appeared on the field. Some players may return.”

Currently, MU is ranked 8th in the Premier League and is at a disadvantage in the race to win tickets to the European Cup next season. However, Coach Ten Hag affirmed that he is not worried about the possibility of being fired: “I’m not worried at all, the owners also have the same feeling as me.

MU had to play with 32 different defenses, using 13 pairs of center backs. The owners also saw how our lack of left backs had a negative impact. The reason we performed poorly was because of injuries. No team can play well when there are too many injuries in important positions.”

In addition, Ten Hag also refused to talk about the reason why MU owners did not publicly support him in the media: “This question must be asked to the leaders, not me.”
