“Stone Cold Joins Bloodline”: Latest WrestleMania 40 Rumors Could Be Bad News for The Rock’s Return and Fans’ Expectations

Wrestlemania 40 is just around the corner, and the schedule for the showdown has already taken shape. It is the grandest event in the world of professional wrestling, and the stage is set for this year’s championship.

The event will hit a special milestone this year, as it will be celebrating 40 years since its inception. Held annually, Wrestlemania has boosted several WWE stars to greater fame. This year, the stakes are even higher, with Dwayne Johnson and his cousin, Roman Reigns. Moreover, if rumors are to be believed, some of the biggest names are set to take them on.

Wrestlemania 40 is set to be an extravagant event with Dwayne Johnson and his cousin
Last year’s event was held at the SoFi Stadium, and it was a massive success, with the likes of Shane McMahon returning to the ring. Wrestlemania 40 is set to be even bigger, as Roman Reigns will return as the defending champion.

Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia will see a rematch between the defending champion and Cody Rhodes. Last year at Wrestlemania 39, The Tribal Chief squared off against the LA Knight for the ultimate glory. With a bit of help from Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso, he prevailed over the former champion.

This time around, Dwayne Johnson will also take to the ring alongside his cousin Reigns as part of the ‘Bloodline’ arc. The Rock and his cousin will take on Rhodes and Sett Rollins on Night 1 of the event, even though some believe that Johnson will not be able to save his cousin. He did have a few conditions for their matchup, though. The rules are very simple: if he and Reigns were to on the first night, there would be no Bloodline on Night 2.

Additionally, the other matches will be just as interesting. Rhodes is set to take on Drew McIntyre in the World Heavyweight Championship. On the women’s side of the event, defending champion Rhae Ripley will take on Becky Lynch for the crown.

The schedule for Wrestlemania 40 is packed. However, there might be more in store for the fans, if the rumors are anything to go by.

Stone Cold and a host of other stars might show up at Wrestlemania, and fans cannot keep calm
While the lineup for the main events is more or less set, the rumor mills suggest that there might be more. So far, Dwayne Johnson and Roman Reigns have been confirmed, but John Cena might also show up at Wrestlemania this year.

Moreover, Steve Austin, also known as Stone Cold, might feature on the lineup, eventually. So far, nothing has been confirmed, and these are just speculations. Even the Undertaker might make a brief appearance at the event this year, but nothing has been confirmed just yet.

With the supposed rumors about Stone Cold and John Cena dropping, fans are more excited than ever. Many flocked to social media to share their opinions on how the events might play out.

Regardless of the stars’ appearance or who wins the belt, Wrestlemania 40 will be spectacular nonetheless. The event will take place on April 6 and 7.
